Since I did not get any replies from the two statewide Republican groups I sent this to, I am sharing this idea on my blog.
It seems many districts in our state did not have any Republican running because Top 2 does not guarantee a seat in November for a Republican. Sad fact is over 7 districts have unopposed races and no one from the left, right and center wanted to help them get on the ballot so we can get someone in the November election.
However it might be likely we can score county party seats and state party committee seats.
It is not likely we will win a top 2 slot in most of these cases, but we can at least score delegates as class 3 Republicans according to the party bylaws.
How do we do it?
Go to your county registrar of voters from April 9th to May 22nd. Rule of the game is getting the papers as early as possible AND turn them in as early as possible.
You will need 40 genuine signatures. But it is better to get 50 to a maximum of 60.
You can get them from ANY registered voter in the district.
