Easter Sunday led to a carjacking murder in my hometown of Ontario, California which is sadly an unsolved murder where we have not found the criminal yet. A Vietnam Veteran of 59 years was murdered for his car and left for dead three blocks from his home and was recently put to rest this week.
Gregory Johnson’s mother visited the store I worked at to buy a commemorative holder for his American flag that draped his coffin and I heard more about the story behind the story and it made me sad for what these cowardly criminals did to this family. Gregory fought in Vietnam, but came back home to die in his driveway. What a sad and tragic end to a proud and honorable man.
If anyone knows anything about this murder, you are encouraged to contact the Ontario, California police department.
