Rancho Cucamonga no thanks.

I am disgusted by the city of Rancho Cucamonga and I have decided to curtail my spending in their city because of their puritanical nature of their governance. From the Chamber of Commerce to the city government they are the city of fundamentalism beyond comparison. From their bias against No on 8 protesters with the Chamber of Commerce to the removal of the Freedom from Religion billboard, as long as it is not straight and Christian you are not welcomed in Rancho Cucamonga.

The chamber earlier in October during their grape festival allowed a Yes on Proposition 8 booth to distribute information when they never formally endorsed either side of the issue, and when a spectator criticized the management of the festival for their bias one of the chamber members ended up spouting Yes on 8 talking points and had the spectator booted off the premises.

Then in November they asked a billboard company to remove the Freedom from Religion billboard even though it was only meant to strike a conversation about the debate over religion among the community. It seems religious dogma is firmly implanted in the Rancho Cucamonga government and establishment where there is no separation of church and state.
