A new job, a new life?

I have the opportunity in my first job interview in the last six months with a leading retailer in Rancho Cucamonga. Right now retail is a slow industry right now where my part time job is becoming a pale shadow of what it used to be. I know I should be moving towards a full time job, but this new job has the potential to be a full time job when the shipments coming into the store warrant it. However the assistant manager has stated it could go from 10 hours to 40 hours, but more likely 37.5. Personally I do not like having dynamic schedules where you do not know if you are going to have feast or famine.  To be conservative I think its probably going to be like 24 hours a week of work compared to the 9 to 16.5 hours a week I am getting in my current employer.

Personally this is a job where I will not be able to simply walk to my workplace. A hour commute will probably be needed if hired. Since I do not drive, I will be able to utilize Omnitrans just like how I used the bus system to go from Ontario to UC Riverside twice a week.
