I am voting no on both 98 and 99 on this June’s California election ballot.
98 sounds good, but it has the poison pill to remove rent control on California renters.
99 has corrupt backers who are using taxpayer dollars to finance a political campaign. Where a state surpreme court case in 1976, Stanson v. Mott forbids this practice.
Yes, private property needs to be protected from enmiement domain abuse, but these initatives need to go back to the drawing board.
This June vote NO on both initatives.
